FEES FOR MY SERVICES

After much consideration and discussion with my work colleagues, friends and family, it has become clear that to continue to adopt the ‘NO SET FEES’ approach to my work, will eventually lead to serious financial issues given that since putting this approach in operation on January 1st this year, it has cost me £4,875 to do the workshops and journeys I have done to date.

Whilst I knew that there would be consequences for adopting this approach, I expected it to be around 12 months if at all as I always hoped that what little finances I made over a period of time, would equal itself out over the 12 months. However, if the trend continues, then I will be at this point in time sooner than I thought. Now whilst again, I don’t mind if this occurs, logic and common sense tells me that even I have to pay my bills and so I have made the decision to put this working approach on hold forthwith despite doing so causing me much internal grief and uneasiness.

In relation to the Journeys and Training programmes already scheduled for the rest of this year, I have decided to apply the following fee structure: Participants still take responsibility for getting themselves to and from the venue. I will still provide all the food, transport, equipment and accommodation but will levy a small charge of £250 PER PERSON.

It is still my intention to work towards a point in my professional life where I do not have to charge any fees for any of my work.
